Hydraulic Swivel Joints

Optima produces a wide range of swivel joints for use in both hydraulic and industrial applications. 
The swivel joints are designed to be mounted between a hose assembly and a rigid component of a machine, allowing for and compensating for occasional rotations. The movement of the stem on its axis prevents hose damage. They are used in every productive sector where there are means, equipment, or plants with moving flexible hoses. These swivel joints are also available in stainless steel AISI 316; they are black-dull due to a special nitrocarburizing process. This basic treatment is performed to prevent the risk of seizure, which is particularly high, between the stem and the body during rotation, and also to extend the life of the swivel joint. Ultimately, it is essential to note that stainless steel joints have lower work pressures compared to standard joints.
